His parents worked in the Emperor's Coven and often left him home alone.

Because they were frequently stationed in different places for their work, he moved around a lot and attended many different schools (including Glandus for a time).

Constantly adjusting to new environments made it hard for him to get good grades. He had to adapt to different grading systems, teaching styles, and class expectations at each new school. Even within the same subject, what was taught often varied, so more often than not knew more and less than his classmates at the same time

Every time he finally caught up with his classmates he would have to move again

Still, he put(s) in a tremendous amount of effort to keep up, always working hard to pass. He felt(feels) like was(is) always chasing something he could never quite catch, but he kept(keeps) trying, knowing that even if he failed, he’d at least given it his best(this makes him constantly burnt down)

Always being the new kid in class wasn’t easy. Even when he joined at the start of the school year (which was rare), most students already knew each other, making it hard for him to form close friendships.

The few friends he did get close with, he’s still in touch with over Penstagram.

At home, his father taught him to cook and prepare different meals for himself.

When he was left alone which happened often he had plenty of time to fill. He entertained himself by climbing on everything he could (parkour), reading books, and trying anything to keep his mind off of the fact he was alone. One of the hobbies he picked up was crocheting after he found some supplies and a simple illustrated guide on how to get started and learned it.
